Melted Plastic

Teagan thinks it is fun to empty the drawer with the plastic kid bowls and spoons. We normally find it scattered on the floor, but he is starting to put things in the trash can and today we discovered a bowl in the boiler drawer of our oven. Unfortunately, we discovered it after we turned the oven on and started cooking dinner. Steven started smelling fumes that were not normal and we found a bowl melting and flames coming up out of the boiler drawer when we opened it. So, much for eggs, sausage, and biscuits...after putting out the flames and throwing the biscuits that probably had chemicals from melting plastic away we went to Zaxby's.

February 2nd Snow

We got our second snow and this time it was good enough to build snowmen!!! McKenzie making her a snow angel (thank you JoJo for teaching her how to do this!)
Steven took McKenzie out to build snowmen and I was in charge of finding the eyes and a nose (see next post). Teagan was napping so I got to watch from the heated house!!!

Feb Snow Continued

Steven taught McKenzie how to run down the slope in our backyard and slide. This was the end of a belly slide! I wish I had a picture of Steven doing it!!!

Teagan ended up sitting down a lot...it is hard to walk when you are all bundled up!

Can we both fit?

McKenzie and Teagan were both trying to fit in the red car while playing in the garage the other day. They love to play in the garage while Steven and I work down there. We are cleaning up and out so we can start closing in the basement for a play room.

January 20th Snow

Our first snow of 2009. This was the first snow for Teagan and the first one McKenzie can really remember playing in. We didn't get good snowman making snow, but we could still throw it at each other! Teagan all bundled up.

Playing Basketball

McKenzie and Teagan started shooting the balls at the over the door basketball. They both really like it when Daddy picks them up to do a slam dunk! McKenzie can actually make a shot when she is trying. Steven ended up bringing in the small kids goal from the back deck so they can play and both make baskets!
