BANG BANG

Teagan pulled the broiler part of my oven open today and was banging on it like a drum. He thought it was great fun! He is into EVERYTHING!!!!!

End of Summer Fun

Mikayla and McKenzie swimming at their end of the year Sunday School party. McKenzie has learned a lot in the 2 year old class. When she is not being stubborn she will tell us her story from Sunday school after church.

Teagan was happy playing with his daddy.

GYMNASTICS

McKenzie started gymnastics last Friday. This is a picture of her right before she went into class. She LOVED it and keeps asking when she gets to go back.

The theme right now is space and so they get to take off like space ships and fly around the room and they use the balls to do different things.

At the end of class she got a sticker and a stamp on both hands and both feet.

Dress Up

McKenzie loves to play dress up and sometimes that means "fixing" daddy's hair and make-up. Well, today Teagan was the one who got to be dressed up. The ear has to hold the bows when there is no hair!!

Playing House

Mikayla and Meredith spent last Wed morning with us. The girls were playing house and Teagan wanted to be right in there with them. At one point McKenzie was the mom, Mikayla the baby, and Meredith the dad. McKenzie told Meredith "she is the dad and she is suppose to sit on the couch!".

Caught up!

I am finally caught up in my posting! I am so excited about being able to do this. Now there will be posts on a consistent basis, but there will not be a need to post as much at one time! I hope you enjoy keeping up with our family as you read this!

First Day of MDO

McKenzie's first day of mother's day out. I was looking at her pictures from MDO the last two years and I can't believe how much my little girl has grown up. She is starting to look more big girl than baby girl. McKenzie loves her class. Her teachers are Mrs. BJ and Mrs. Kim(who we know from church). She has lots of friends from church in her class. She made me so proud becuase she didn't cry, but then again that made me sad because she is getting so big.

In her class

Chloe had her mommy call us the night before school to see if McKenzie would wear this dress. Angela had given her a choice between 2 dresses and she picked this one because McKenzie was going to wear it. Thank goodness it was clean and McKenzie didn't care because it was at least a dress!

Michelle's Wedding

We went to my cousins wedding in Nashville the first of August. McKenzie decided to play photographer with my camera. Here is a picture she took of Steven and I and she managed to get Teagan in the picture, too.

Here is McKenzie in her "pretty yellow dress" at the wedding.

Cousins...Stacy, TJ, Michelle, Doug, Tara

Gramps with Teagan and McKenzie.

Sleepy Baby

Teagan use to go to sleep very easily when I put him down. Since he has learned to sit up on his own, crawl, and now pull up he is fighting it a little more. This day he had been fighting going to sleep and screaming. I had been in several times to settle him down before he finally gave up and went to sleep sitting up leaned over on his bumper!

Silly Kids

McKenzie and Teagan were being very silly this day. McKenzie put the soft bucket on Teagan's head and the Bumbo seat on her head.

Bike Ride

We decided that Teagan is finally big enough to join McKenzie in the bike cart. He made it a little heavier load for Daddy to pull, but he enjoyed it. This is how he ended up at the end of the ride...asleep!

McKenzie loves to ride her bike in the driveway.

Princess Tea Party

Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Belle had a tea party at our house. The girls came dressed in their princess dresses and we had a lot of fun.

They got to make foam tiarras, eat lunch, and decorate their on cookies with sprinkles.

McKenzie wearing her princess tiarra she made.

More Cancun

McKenzie and Teagan in their Two Scoops outfits. My camera would not take good pics on the beach and I am waiting on my mom to send me hers!

Our family!

Nana and Kenzie. Nana bought Kenzie this Fourth of July outfit.

Gramps and Kenzie.

Cancun

We went with the Tanner side of the family to Cancun for vacation this summer! We got to fly on an airplane to go to the beach! How much more exciting can it get for a 3 year old who loves to fly, loves the beach, and loves spending time with her family? In this picture we were on a boat to go to a glass bottom boat and she needed to borrow Uncle Doug's sunglasses. She used them to shade her eyes to nap on him!

Gramps and Teagan were having fun!

Teagan looking out the boat to see some fish! He bent down like he knew exactly what we were doing! We saw lots of fish, turtles, and even a Mermaid! Yes, I said Mermaid!

McKenzie swimming with her daddy! She started swimming under the water this week!

Kenzie and I ended up with coordinating dresses that we got down there so we had to wear them so we could match. McKenzie loves it when we match. Teagan missed out on this picture because he was asleep!

Playing with Tucker

Tucker spent the day with us and they had a blast playing together. This pool may not be big, but it helped beat the heat this summer when we couldn't get to a big pool!

Bath Time

This was Teagan's first bath in the big tub with his sister! They both loved it and McKenzie wanted her brother to play with all the toys.

Look brother, Mommys taking a picture!

Let's play!

VBS

Steven took McKenzie and Mikayla to go down the BIG blow up slide at the VBS party.

Hereis McKenzie coming down the slide! She loves this thing!

Teagan got to hang out with Danielle (we call her "D"). She is a great babysitter and absolutely loves my kids! I am so thankful for her and our other great sitters!

Duck Pond

McKenzie loves to go feed the ducks. Most of the time this is something she does with her daddy, but this time the whole family got to go.
"Look, Mom. Those ducks don't have heads!"
Happy Teagan!

Great Grandparents

My grandparents came to visit us for a few days in July. Teagan and Grandaddy napped really well together. McKenzie enjoyed spening time with both GM and GD. We hope they get to come back soon!

Teagan's Dedication

We had Teagan's baby dedication on June 1, 2008. We are so thankful for the precious baby boy God has give to us. We want to raise him to honor and love our Saviour Jesus Christ. God has given us a huge responsibility as parents to both McKenzie and Teagan and we strive to be the best parents we can be. This was a great day that we were able to share with our friends and family who also play an important role in showing our children Christ's love.
